Tom Richardson LLC is an insured underground utility engineering/locating company. We are on the prequalified vendors list at the Colorado Unified Certification Program website for CDOT and the City and County of Denver, and we are a member of the Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing system. Our company provides accurate work in the field and an electronic ASCE 38-02 Level B utility data packet in a timely manner. As of 2018, we have begun to incorporate Drone Services into our product. We have FAA Certified pilots with insured and registered drones that can provide Centimeter Grade Aerial Mapping of your job sites.
One of the principals of our company, Tom Richardson, has 26 years of underground utility engineering and locating experience in the greater Denver area, as well as the state of Colorado. He has worked on the utility engineering locates for several front range and western slope airports and the Hwy 50 widening in Durango and the Idaho Springs Tunnel projects for CDOT. Tom was also the main locator at Denver International Airport for 14 years during the construction of runways, roads, the hotel, and the light rail system. He is currently the locator of choice for DIA engineering projects.
Our associate and senior locator, Bob Blevins, has 28 years of engineering and locating experience in Colorado. The last 20 years he has specialized in engineering locating at military bases, highway construction, and airfields.
Brandon Francis heads up our drone division. By flying the drone with points set in the field in conjuction with your surveyors, we can provide DSMs, DTMs, Point Clouds, and Orthomosaic Maps with Centimeter Grade accuracy.
